Action thriller based on a proven Korean recipe. Violent action scenes regularly push the plot, which is somewhat like a Gordian knot, into the background. Fans of movies in which the bullets fly around your ears will probably appreciate this. I am less charmed.

Moderate action thriller. The story is complex and therefore a bit difficult to follow. The effect is reasonable. The pace is good and the film contains more than enough action and hard scenes. The film also contains a few successful tense moments. But as said, the difficult to follow story is at the expense of the tension because as a viewer you actually no longer know how to distinguish the good and bad guys at a given moment. The acting of a number of Korean greats is perfectly fine. Visually it also looks slick. There could have been more in this. 2.5/3.0

Hysterically edited and therefore very tiring South Korean action thriller. Plot and characters are also not very interesting. The many action scenes are adequately portrayed and visually the film looks good, but due to the ridiculously fast pace and the abundance of plot twists, the film can hardly be taken seriously. Lead actor and director Lee Jung-Jae is apparently a big fan of colleagues like Michael Bay and Paul W. Anderson.
