"Whatever you do, don't lose the rope."
In the remote forests of North Carolina, a blind teenager named Solomon lives in total isolation. Despite his disability, Solomon is able to navigate his environment using a long rope that he ties around his waist and attaches to the cabin where he lives. Solomon thus manages to survive by fishing, foraging and catching other small animals. This comes to an end when he befriends a hunter and they are tormented by a mysterious creature lurking in the forest.
