A Week in Paradise plot
Movie star Maggie Russell's world collapses when her husband, British film director Christopher, leaves her. He had an extramarital affair which was revealed by the paparazzi when they discovered he was having a baby with his new young lead actress. Seeking comfort and recovery, Maggie goes to stay with her British cousin in a Caribbean hotel. After two weeks in paradise, she finds herself again and falls in love. But then the outside world invades again.
