A Love Song plot
Faye has settled in her camper near a lake. Here she fishes at her own pace, cooks and tries to get the radio to work. It gradually becomes clear that the woman is waiting for someone. That person turns out to be a childhood sweetheart she hasn't seen for decades. Lito eventually arrives at his destination, he is also a widower in the meantime. Together they reminisce and share their loss and loneliness in their lives.

Film about loneliness and unfulfilled wishes.
Quite enjoyable this "Love Song" with two very special actors.

Reasonable film about a woman in a caravan waiting for a man she hasn't seen for years. A very quietly rippling film without major events. The woman's loneliness comes to the fore during the first part (her daily rituals). After that it gets a bit less interesting, but that is not due to the excellent teamwork of Dale Dickey and Wes Studi.

I thought this was a really fantastic film. A truly wonderful slow film with a slightly satirical touch about loneliness and the misery of life, with of course fantastic acting from Wes Studi and Dale Dickey. Once again proof that you don't need much for a great movie, I need movies like this.
And then before going to bed, put on another Blaze Foley LP, there is a beautiful song by him in the film, this music is just like the film, no frills but just simple beauty...
