Malikates plot

Zineb, 27, has a strong criminal record and is currently in prison. When she learns that her 9-year-old daughter Inés is being picked up from school and placed in a children's home, she decides to escape. She kidnaps her daughter and flees south with her. On the way, she carjacks a truck and takes Asma, the young woman at the wheel, hostage. The trio is soon chased by the police. They flee through the Atlas Mountains with its red rocks and flowering valleys, heading south and the Atlantic Ocean.
