America has been completely torn apart by violence and the streets are unsafe. In these dramatic times, Greg and Helen must take drastic action when their food supply is stolen and they have to leave their place. They decide to knock on the door of their neighbor and his family because they have a bunker, but these families really don't like each other. The neighbor only tolerates the family when they are of use, so tensions quickly run high. To make matters worse, a dangerous group from outside attacks the bunker.
