Of course, you have to do something if every participant in a certain film universe starts to look very similar. Director Tim Vigil finds an antidote by turning it into a kind of anthology. The majority of Amityville Vampire consists of a couple telling each other some scary stories in the car, which made the accompanying variation quite a surprise. Each piece has a completely different concept and that was quite nice. Ultimately everything comes together in the finale, but it is conducted so messily that it is difficult to sit through. In addition, there is (of course) terrible acting, stupid humor, sloppily built tension and very cheap effects, but it is still better than some other films in this series. By the way, Vampire was originally intended as its own thing, but she quickly conducted a matching opening scene and then added Amityville to it. That's how quickly things can go in these types of films.
