The Ice Age Adventures of Buck Wild plot
"Disney+ gets wild."
Crash and Eddie are possum brothers who want to be less dependent on their older sister. They decide to seek adventure and get stuck in an underground cave. They are then helped out there by Buck Wild, a one-eyed weasel on a dinosaur hunt. Together, the trio decide to head for the 'Lost World', which is home to a number of unruly dinosaurs.

The 15th film if you include all the shorts. The 6th full-fledged film and you notice that this series has also gone on for too long. Almost all the well-known characters are in it, but it is more of a spin-off of Buck, Crash and Eddie. The last two decide to leave the group and make it on their own. They enter the "lost world" where they encounter Buck (from film 4). This one is in a battle with a dinosaur that has a large collection of brains on its head. Crash and Eddie must find their own identity to win the battle.
In itself it is not a bad film, but it does lack originality. In addition, I had the feeling that it was not completely finished. There did seem to be some scenes that showed some flickering. Fun for the kids, but as an adult you might want to skip this one (or look at it with a slanted eye).

Pure junk. Not that this series is that brilliant, but on a certain level it still has enough positive points. That's really gone here. Especially visually very cheap. The well-known characters still look fine, but all the news characters and backgrounds? They are very cheap with few details. As if they reused the animation from old parts for the old acquaintances and made the rest with a much smaller budget. That's a huge curse. Furthermore, a completely uninteresting story, too busy and shouty at times and not actually interesting for a moment. 0.5*.

Possums Crash [Vincent Tong] and Eddie [Aaron Harris] are the outsider herd of the Ice Age franchise. Their mammoth sister Ellie [Dominique Jennings] protects them, but Manny [Sean Kenin] challenges them to stand on their own two feet. And so it happens, and Eddie and Crash end up in The Lost World where they team up with that annoying one-eyed weasel Buck [Simon Pegg] to take on dino Orson [Utkarsh Ambudkar]. The original voice cast is absent for this cheaply made spin-off of the dead Ice Age series. The story is slightly better than Ice Age: Collision Course, but the animation is disappointing.
