The Bigger Picture plot
Nick and Richard's mother is dying. However, they have completely different opinions on how they should treat her. Richard wants to take her to a nursing home, but Nick wants to take care of her personally.

A solid short film in terms of content, about two completely different and estranged brothers. One still lives at home and takes care of his mother. He does the laundry and the dishes and is genuinely concerned. However, this is taken for granted. The other brother is the flamboyant son who drops by at all hours, but who actually has little affinity with his family. He leads his own life and his actions are constantly excused by his mother.
Things are certainly put into sharp focus here, but it is a common problem within families. So, an interesting theme. I didn't find the drawing style to be my cup of tea; it was rather sloppy and not very inviting.

A short film about two different brothers where the mother hopes they get along. The animation style is quite primitive, but figuratively colors outside the lines here and there, which makes it quite beautiful. Although I think it could have gone a bit further. With the simple drama as a counterpoint.
