Tired of being locked up in a reptile house where people stare at them like monsters, a group of Australian deadly creatures plot a daring escape. Maddie, a venomous snake with a heart of gold, Zoe, a mountain devil, Frank, a furry spider in love, and Nigel, a sensitive scorpion, want to go to the outback, a place where they can live in peace without being judged on their appearance. Their nemesis, the cute but obnoxious koala Pretty Boy, unexpectedly joins in. Once escaped, they embark on a grand journey across Australia, while being chased by zookeeper Chaz and his cronies.
