Midshipman Easy plot

A young naval officer joins the Royal Navy as a midshipman aboard HMS Harpy. He finds it difficult to adjust to Navy life and soon gets into trouble. However, when the ship is ravaged by smugglers, pirates and a storm, the young officer and his friends prove adept at seamanship and bravado. Among other things, they rescue a woman from the clutches of Spanish pirates.
