Pietra Tenera plot

In the mountains of northern Italy, a family specializes in the artisanal production of soapstone objects, an age-old tradition. Together with his adoptive father, in this place where time seems to stand still, 17-year-old Ati, born in Thailand, tries to figure out where he fits in this world. His father traces his roots, the history of his ancestors and the working of soapstone. Ati envies his friends, their travels, and the risks they take that they can only blame or thank themselves for. Both are part of a whole and give weight to existence.
