In Maritime Bay, the Earth Ponies' mistrust of Unicorns and the Pegasi prevails. When young Unicorn Izzy Moonbow [Kimiko Glenn] unsuspectingly walks into town, everyone panics. Except for Sunny Starschout [Vanessa Hudgens], who soon discovers what she suspected for a long time: that she has nothing to fear from Unicorns. Sunny decides to help Izzy find her lost magic, even if it means going to the land of those other supposed archenemies: the Pegasi. Well-developed characters with clear individual qualities and shortcomings, nice animation, a sharp sense of humour, excellent songs and even a relevant (and rather risqué) message about incitement (with the storming of the US Capitol still fresh in the mind) that, however, in stands in the way of a good story. I couldn't count on two hands the number of times I laughed out loud. An extremely pleasant surprise and (seriously) recommended for viewers of all ages.
