"Redemption begins at home"
Ronnie Russo is a New York lawyer who becomes entangled in a tangled web of conflicting loyalties. He is summoned by his dying childhood friend Joey Donovan to return to his hometown in Boston. Joey wants to be reunited with his estranged son and asks Ronnie for his help. This forces Ronnie to face his past and a secret childhood trauma he's been hiding for over 25 years.
