After their son Beyto's homosexual orientation is known, his parents see an arranged marriage as the only solution. Due to this plot unfolding, the film gets a different interpretation with this arranged marriage. As a result, the honor of the family and the cultural traditions come more prominently to the fore.

However, the film remains light-hearted. In other films it could look more gray and menacing, but that is not the case here. Beyto's parents are decent people, but they can't handle their son's sexual orientation.

A decent movie. Not a topper, especially with the rather easy ending of the film. Rather simple and complex. Cozy together with three away from home to start again elsewhere.

A pretty good film about Turkish family, in which son is homosexual.

I write 'nice' because it is all told quite simply and easily.

Of course, the problems are exposed, such as the cultural differences, traditions, family disgrace, etc.

But all quite understanding. But that doesn't mean the movie is bad.

On the contrary, the film is well supported by the players. It's great that all these Turkish people are open to such a subject as this. So hats off to everyone.

And not all gay movies have to be 'heavy' and 'depressing'.

That's why the ending is sometimes good. Positive.
