"Couponing goes criminal."
Connie and JoJo are best friends and true coupon queens: they try to clear their sky-high bills by saving money on groceries with discount vouchers. To kick revenues into high gear, they set up an ingenious coupon cartel and manage to defraud supermarket chains for over $40 million. But as the BFFs' bank accounts fill up and their club reaches millions of members, they come across two agents who are deployed to trace the origin of the fraudulent coupons.

Good film in which two friends make a lot of money selling stolen coupons. A special story based on a true fraud case. The film has a brisk pace and is also easy to watch because you see both the ladies at work and the hunt for them. Entertaining characters filled in by an equally entertaining cast.

Very good crime comedy with a fantastic cast, an original plot and at times hilarious script. Vince Vaughn undoubtedly steals the show as a postal police officer, apparently the oldest police department in the US.

'Queenpins' (2021) is not as sharp or villainous as 'I, Tonya' (2017), but Connie Janikowski (Kristen Bell) and JoJo (Kirby Howell-Baptiste) are wonderfully fat anti-heroines. You can't help but admire their coupon fraud and their first stumbling steps into the world of organized crime. Also wonderful one-two punches between rule-breaker Ken Miller (Paul Water Hauser) and Simon Kilmurry (Vince Vaughn) as the third-rate detectives who track down these ladies. All extra hilarious because you know that coupon fraud itself is actually no more malicious than the way large companies (completely legally) play with rules. Although I admit that it probably has little to do with the true events behind this coupon fraud.
