Prima che la Notte plot
In the 1970s and early 1980s, Sicilian journalist and activist Giuseppe Fava, known as Pippo, denounced the crimes of the mafia. He publishes everything in the newspaper “I Siciliani” which he founded himself after having achieved major successes in film, TV, radio and theater. Around this venture, he creates a real school of journalism, based on the most absolute freedom of expression, especially with regard to the mafia. And it is this very approach, along with his tenacious search for the truth, that brings him into conflict with organized crime gangs.
