French Roast plot
In the heart of the bustling Parisian metropolis, a wealthy, self-centered businessman enjoys his morning coffee in a cozy café. However, he is so immersed in himself that he completely ignores a bum looking for charity, and as a result, the homeless person leaves empty-handed. Then the businessman asks for the bill and finds out that he has forgotten his wallet. The man keeps ordering coffee to buy some time and the bill just keeps growing. Can a simple act of kindness save the day?

They really exist those old, stiffly solemn cafes with the almost equally old waiters where such customers can be found.
Funny film that does introduce some strikingly obnoxious human traits, but fortunately also one good one.
Spicy with that mirror. What you see as behind "Monsieur Finance" is happening before him.

I liked this one. Funny also about how you squeeze into a certain blocked situation. And then ingenuity wins over the shame of man. Egocentrism at its peak of a brushed-down aristocratic type who feels better than others and has little with those who have less. Very nice animated. I found that bum less successful in terms of style, but the waiter and rich customer, for example, are so caricaturally striking. Nice!
