Quando Tramonta Il Sole plot
The film is a fictionalized biography of the Neapolitan musician and lyricist Salvatore Gambardella. Savarese, a worker with an excellent voice, sings the songs of Salvatore Gambardella. Gambardella has not studied and uses an old teacher to copy the notes of his compositions. The young Gambardella turns to the music publisher Don Ferdinando Bideri, gets a good contract and meets his cousin Carolina with whom he falls in love. He will never be able to forget her.
