"Be careful who you betray."
After planning the "perfect" heist, Nick Mullins is ready to score. He just needs a team to get the job done. The problem is, his girlfriend and the leader of the team, Jack, have other ideas. When the job fails, Nick is left for dead by his team. However, Nick survives and is out for revenge.

Unbearable, very boring crime film with some stray action scenes. Director Tibor Takács has not exactly directed the most high-quality films in his career, but has managed to get nice concepts left and right. In any case, Blowback shows his qualities convincingly, namely that he has no qualities whatsoever. Only Cam Gigandet seems to make a sincere effort to save the film somewhat, otherwise there is bungling on all sides. Randy Couture delivers one of the worst performances ever (that's saying something) and the action scenes don't have an ounce of adrenaline. Very boring gunfights and a bland bank robbery are apparently supposed to be the highlights of the film, but the end result is really unbearable. My points go out to Gigandet and a fairly violent torture scene in between, otherwise Blowback is a real ordeal to sit through.
