Nice film in which a man with his girlfriend on holiday in Greece ends up in a nightmare. A somewhat monotonous chase thriller that doesn't have too much going for it either. Still, it remains reasonably entertaining, because as a viewer you know just as little as the main character. Furthermore, the many locations in Greece provide some nice pictures and the film as a whole just looks good.

So much more lived here. Especially considering the pretty good story. Unfortunately a few things that I regretted. One of them is the predictability of many events , such as the man from the embassy. That was pretty clear when he showed his face and started asking questions about the two demonstrators. The backgrounds of the various groups could also have been highlighted more clearly. Another downside is the slow build-up, while the ending is rushed, so it could have been worked out better. I also thought the cast was mediocre. On the other hand, the pictures of the surroundings, including in the city, were beautifully shot.

On vacation in Greece, Beckett [John David Washington] survives a car accident that kills his wife [Alicia Vikander]. Once Beckett has recovered sufficiently, he visits the scene of the accident where two police officers [Panos Koronis, Lena Kitsopoulou] try to liquidate him. Beckett has no choice but to run and find a way to reach the US embassy. Washington doesn't do a bad job in the lead role, but it's not very credible, to say the least, that a man with one arm in a plaster uit manages to stay out of the hands of the police during a chase through the harsh Greek landscape[/ spoiler]. Idiot action scenes and an extremely far-fetched explanation for all this kill this action thriller.
