Paris-Brest plot

Five years after leaving Brest and his family to become a writer in Paris, Colin returns for Christmas. Officially to see his sister, who has just given birth. In reality, he wants to settle with his parents. During dinner, Colinaan announces that his novel about their family is being published.

Film that resolutely takes the side of the young person who, against the wishes of his parents, wants to maintain his choice for his future profession and life.

Goes much further when Colin freely criticizes the attitude of his parents and even manages to put them under panicky pressure.

Film also has its tender moments, especially where the relationship with Colin's grandmother is shown, although he himself is certainly not free to speak about the totality of his actions.
