Vi Som Går Köksvägen plot
Helga Breder is a young, spoiled girl. She tells her beloved Jörgen that as a modern young woman she has many talents and can do whatever she wants. She bets on a diamond ring that she can support herself by working as a maid in a mansion. Helga becomes a housemaid at Finger Mansion and falls in love with an engineer, Bertil Frigård, who lives there.
