Rosamunde Pilcher - Das Vermächtnis Unseres Vaters plot

Iris Harding, who has just graduated as a journalist, is asked by the unknown Greta Winterbottom to set up a search for her father's childhood sweetheart. Greta is seriously ill and unable to fulfill the last wish of her late father John. Greta also asks Iris to keep the search a secret. For example, Maura, John's last wife, and their son Patrick are not allowed to know anything.
