"A one man army."
H is a cold and mysterious man who recently joined a cash truck company. It is responsible for moving hundreds of millions of dollars through Los Angeles every week. Wrath of Man is yet another revenge film from the Hollywood murder and manslaughter stole that, except perhaps its length, has nothing to add to the genre. Men with high-tech guns blasting each other to pieces according to America's beloved adagio: an eye for an eye, a tooth for a tooth. Because these kinds of films consist of a series of predictable clichés, the genre begs for other, more creative solutions like a lost person in the desert begs for water. Unfortunately peanut butter, those yanks remain, of course, arch-conservative. Never change a yawning team.

Nice and blunt, exciting action thriller with the Stath perfectly cast as a silent avenger. The rest of the cast is also excellent. Tightly directed by Guy Ritchie, with an ingeniously put together script that is somewhat reminiscent of a film like The Usual Suspects in structure. The last scene kills a bit (no pun intended), but until then this is a great revenge film.

Great crime movie. The story is simple, but Ritchie manages to work it out in a fairly intelligent way. With flashbacks and forwards, the story is shown from various perspectives. He makes clever use of the camera work so that the story comes together little by little like a puzzle. The pace is high and the film contains the necessary tension and good action scenes. The scene in the depot is particularly strong. The ending is ok, but could have been better. The actors do a good job and Statham's role is perfect. Eastwood was a bit disappointed. Reasonable topper. 4.0
