Ijé: The Journey plot
"The truth has many sides"
Chioma, a child growing up in rural Nigeria, warns her restless sister Anya of the risks of pursuing the American dream. Ten years later, Anya is accused of murdering three men in a Hollywood villa. One of the men is her husband, a music producer. Chioma travels from Nigeria to Los Angeles. Together with a young budding lawyer, she discovers that her sister has a secret she wants to keep to herself, but which is probably her only resort.
