I Am Secretly an Important Man plot

Steven Jay "Jesse" Bernstein was an American underground writer and poet and performance artist. His angry, surprisingly fresh, lyrical lyrics are about sensitive souls, tramps and drug addicts, people alienated by a society that refuses to understand them. Bernstein was part of the legendary rock scene in Seattle of the late 80s and early 90s and in 1991 he was named the 'Godfather of Grunge' by British magazine The Independent. This documentary is a portrait of his life.
