Den Grimme Aelling plot

The poor swan hatched in a duck's nest must suffer so much. He is bullied, scolded and mocked. He is dying of both hunger and cold and is nearly caught by a hunting dog. An arrogant cat lectures him, who thinks he knows everything about the world, but eventually finds his own place in life.
