A relatively short Swedish film of about 70 minutes in which a whodunnit story is presented. The first 25 minutes are dedicated to introducing the characters. There are quite a few that made me quickly lose sight of the trees. Lots of people in the Ernstam family farm because it is Christmas.

After the murder, an invited writer presents himself as an accomplished detective. An exiled groom is soon the first suspect, but our writer is smarter than that. After a few more murder attempts by witnesses or people who become too difficult, we finally arrive at the real perpetrator. And that in less than 40 minutes.
