Wow just wow this was a movie that could've been so so great but the script was so bad it seriously hurt me to watch this Neal his performance was good some other actors as well but Lord Almighty Bruce what is wrong with this guy there was no emotion there was no acting he literally didn't want to be there (in the movie) I have to say you guys do not watch this movie it is not worth the time and effort.

I think I need to watch some Steven Seagal movies to get this out of my head because it was bad so bad.

Foreign.

Drake still had quite some fun in the same genre with the same Willis in the lead role in the same genre. Of course Willis hasn't appeared in anything noteworthy since the 2010s, but entertainment-wise it's still catching on. But that's not the case when it comes to Apex Predator.

Apex Predator should be like a rip-off of the kind of movie where a person is hunted as part of a game. Quite nice of course if you have some nice hunters and nice prey, but that is what is missing in this film. In fact, the humans seem to want to hunt each other rather than Willis. In principle, this is almost the ideal paycheck for Willis. He doesn't have to give a shit and earns his money nonetheless.

Visually also uninspired apart from some funny gadgets and action scenes that keep falling dead one after the other. A positive point can be found in the film in the role of McDonough. As an actor, he's always been too good for this kind of nonsense, but apparently he was discarded too much with supporting roles. This film dares to put him in a more prominent position again, but the role itself is just a bit silly.

All in all, it's still entertaining somewhere, but Apex continues to drop dead. Willis only gets what to do in the final. Furthermore, it is mainly actors who run around in a boring forest and make each other's life miserable. No one outside of the aforementioned names really has a suitable charm and action-wise it's too safe and well-behaved for the concept to impress. Pity of course.

Lousy futuristic action film in which the characters mainly use poorly written dialogue to kill each other. There is no question of any tension and/or action. What we do get is the umpteenth incomprehensible role of Bruce Willis, who walks around here as if he were in a completely different movie. Inappropriately and especially inappropriately, he briefly appears in his red tracksuit (as handy as camouflage in the woods) to mumble something and then disappear again for a large part of the film. If it weren't so sad, you could laugh about it.
