"Home is closer than you think"
The day before Christmas in the Scottish Highlands. Jen has traveled from Edinburgh to surprise her lover, only to be surprised that he has a wife and child. Rob has just made his second marriage proposal to his longtime girlfriend but was rejected. Jen and Rob meet at the station and discover that there are no trains running.

Both Jen [Natalie Clark] and Bob [Kenny Boyle] are fresh out of relationships when a blizzard forces them to share a room in a pub in a small Scottish village. Of course there are the necessary eccentric, but sympathetic guests there and there is no doubt about how this will end. Jen and Bob walk through the snowy Scottish landscape without a coat. What a knucklehead! Hallmark makes these kinds of films all the time and it is only thanks to Clark's charming playing that this is not a total disaster. Boyle is completely colorless.
