Voces plot

Daniel, Sara and their nine-year-old son Eric have just moved into an old house, unaware that the neighbors call it "the house of the voices". Eric is the first to notice strange noises in the house. When Eric dies in strange circumstances, Sara temporarily moves in with her parents after a heated argument with Daniel. Left alone in the house, Daniel suddenly hears Eric's voice on his phone when he wants to apologize to Sara. The two enlist the help of a supernatural expert and his daughter to investigate.

Solid Spanish horror print about paranormal happenings in a house. So nothing new under the sun. Filmed many times. Although the film never really stands out or comes out original, it is still quite nicely done.
There is a certain tension present and the sounds were also there. Sometimes the plot takes a bit of a walk with itself and everything is not logically put together or is not discussed further. What is interesting are the suicide attempts that the would-be victim is ordered to do.
With the death of the son, the plot takes a completely different turn. The curse of the witches is again not very original and neither is the solution. All in all, good for once.

Yes, another good horror movie from Spanish soil; How could it be different! Thoroughly enjoyed this masterpiece. Not a slash horror, but you shouldn't expect that from these kinds of films. Fascinating from start to finish, highly recommended! I wish I could make films like this more often.
