Médecin de Nuit plot
Mikaël is a night doctor who treats underprivileged patients. In addition, he also sees drug addicts and the homeless, people who certainly do not want to take care of his colleagues. His own life is also a mess. He must make a choice between his wife and his mistress and is forced by his cousin to prescribe false prescriptions. But one night Mikaël takes his life into his own hands.

Very raw hard film about doctors who are in the line of fire to provide medical care to the outcasts of society. They stand in the breach for patients such as the homeless, drug addicts, illegal immigrants, .... This assistance often takes place in community health centers, but Mikael is an outsider and operates independently and, moreover, often at night, where the dangers and uncertainties are many times greater.
Partly from an ideological point of view as a friendship, he deals in prescriptions for heroin addicts. Making money is not his primary concern, as appears in a number of scenes, but he does keep a certain system running. When work and private life influence each other more and more, he tries to clean up.
Throughout the film there is an uneasy atmosphere, a kind of threat of 'here you play with fire'. Fortunately, the hard patients are regularly alternated with pitiful patients, lonely, elderly, ... Great film actually, partly due to the short running time, fast pace and a subject that makes you pause for a moment.
