Cool! It largely takes place in one location; a remote shithole somewhere in Mexico, where Christina battles her inner demons; one is her addiction, the other is literally a demon. Visually, there is little to complain about; it is atmospherically shot and the setting works well. But when it comes to the script, it lacks the much-needed 'punch' in the first two acts. It starts just a little too slowly and safely – Alender seems afraid to show his hand. Fortunately (if I ignore the mediocre CGI), the ending makes up for that somewhat, although you can pretty much predict it. The whole thing is generally (almost naturally by now) a combination of clichés that, when you throw them all together, can still make for a pretty solid genre film.

What kind of lame garbage was this again. A clumsy little drama, no, certainly not horror, because suspense was nowhere to be found, and no nice atmosphere either; add some poor acting performances to that and you apparently have the standard for a Netflix film. What "film critics" find nice or good about this... I'm sick and tired of that nonsense advertising.

Cheap ass Netflix horror with sauce tropical.

As if you are watching some school project from a film school in Tijuana.
