Merhaba Güzel Vatanim plot
The film tells the life story of the Turkish poet and writer Nazim Hikmet, and that of Ahmet Ümit, also a Turkish writer and poet. Ahmet Ümit is a great admirer of Nazim Hikmet and is best known for his crime novels. The film deals with the different periods in their lives. The similarity between the two writers is that they both end up in Moscow. Ahmet Ümit gets much inspiration from the work of the poet Nâzım Hikmet and eventually becomes a renowned writer who enjoys worldwide fame.
