A stable Rohmer with those recognizable situations when you yourself went looking for the opposite sex as a student. It was hellish when you had someone in mind who suddenly can't be seen anymore, not knowing what happened. You always assume the worst. Our friend here then tries to link the useful to the (un)pleasant and then hangs out with the baker's girl, for lack of anything better.

Fun, fresh and playful. Nice to catch up. Fine setting also of some Parisian quartiers. It is strange that our friend keeps throwing his napkin in the sewer. Was that the fashion in 1960s Paris?
