The dark and foreboding Margam Castle has been abandoned for years. An American research team led by Professor Annie Holzer and Doctor Daniel Barron is interested in the castle's macabre history of unexplained deaths and supernatural sightings. They travel to Wales to stay at the castle and plan to conduct a series of experiments.

The director [Garrick Hagon] of a struggling American university sends a group of paranormal researchers to the infamous Margam Castle in Wales in the hope of attracting publicity and sponsors. The caretaker [Vernon Dobtcheff] warns that something is amiss, and a medium [Jane Merrow] volunteers to offer assistance. In his penultimate film, Jones actually picks up the pace a bit, making this undoubtedly one of his best films. Unfortunately, that doesn't mean much, and he hasn't unlearned the art of writing hackneyed, worthless scripts.
