Great comedy, there are just more like this these days. Some cynical humor with interesting characters and dialogues that were not straight out of the cliché mill. The level cannot always be kept high, you notice that it mainly started with an absurd idea instead of a real story. The ending is rather thin. But otherwise the film manages to entertain. More of this.

It's a fun and original idea, but once it gets going a bit and the gimmick of the exploding teenagers is clear, it's a bit over. Otherwise well made, nicely played and a lot of nice characters that are developed well above average - promise enough, only in this film it all just doesn't come true.

Still, it could all have been worked out better.
The teenagers are bland, annoying, disinterested, etc. In itself, however the youth are now. So the filmmakers got it right.
Yet it never really gets exciting or you feel for the teenagers.
On the other hand, it's not boring or annoying to watch either.
So a middle ground.
