A Mother Knows Worst plot
Harry and Olivia Davis have lost a child. Six months later, the two have mostly got their lives back on track and Olivia wants to get pregnant again. Olivia meets Brooke, a young woman with a baby. You feel far in advance which way the story will go, because the clues are put on too thick. Still, not bad for a Lifetime TV movie.

In the beginning, as a viewer, you are under the assumption that this will be a poor imitation of The Hand That Rocks the Cradle. Still, this Lifetime film manages to maintain reasonably well, because you soon notice that something more is going on. Unfortunately, some points are not fleshed out enough, but the cast manages to save the story to some extent.

Six months after Harry [Jeff Schine] and Olivia [Katie Leclerc]'s daughter was born, Harry has pretty much picked up the thread. The fact that Olivia has not yet come to terms with the loss of their child becomes apparent when she meets the daughter of Brooke [Victoria Barabas] and Harry's boss Glen [Todd Cahoon]. Olivia becomes obsessed with the baby. The cast does what it can, but with such a stupid screenplay and such a transparent plot there is no saving it. Unless you dare to throw all logic overboard.
