Four years after Fidel Castro's coup, Agnès Varda is filming Cuba. This black and white photo documentary is compiled from the 4,000 photos the filmmaker took when she visited the island. The resulting film collage provides a dynamic picture of Cuban culture and society in the post-revolutionary period.

A stylishly shot documentary about the life of Cubans in the turbulent 1960s with Fidel Castro. Castro who is already being adored. Not a morbid documentary, but one with a lot of panache and dance. Dynamic and energetic, both in terms of the images and the technical part.
