Bombay Rose plot
The dancer Kamala would be married off if she had not fled. Now she lives with her father and younger sister. She meets the Muslim Samil, whose parents have been executed, and starts a relationship with him. Although their relationship is central, other characters are also followed, such as a girl who befriends a deaf orphan boy, the police who carry out raids and an English teacher.
