Into the Jungle plot

A newlywed Australian couple sets off for the jungles of Papua New Guinea on an initially impossible task. Jim and Jean Thomas try to convince the indigenous people to stop hunting the tenkile, a tree kangaroo traditionally eaten but now in serious danger of extinction. Jim and Jean Thomas face a lot of resistance and frustration, but they persevere with dedication and perseverance and are even willing to risk their lives.
