"The true story of a literary education."
New York in the 1990s. Joanna, a recent graduate, pursues a writing career and gains experience as an assistant to Margaret, who is JD Salinger's agent. Joanna is given the task of sifting through and answering Salinger's fan mail. She does this from an office, while she herself lives in a shabby flat with her boyfriend.

Reasonable film about an aspiring writer who starts working as an assistant at a literary agency. No big events here. To be honest, not too much happens and the film is a bit boring. But a pleasant pace and a nice role by Margaret Qualley. Moreover, her scenes with Sigourney Weaver are just good. A small 3.0 stars.
