The 20th Century plot

In the year 1899, Mackenzie King pursues a career as a politician. With this he wants to fulfill the destiny that was mentioned by his mother. During his quest, he is distracted by a potential lover, but he is not the only one who wants to win the girl's heart. Ultimately, King threatens to become depressed.
