III plot
The Lumineers are an American folk rock band. They faced addiction and trauma. This documentary is a visual exploration of the band's third and newest album. In three chapters corresponding to the album's ten tracks, we follow three generations of a working-class family in the American Northeast.

Sat down to watch it again today. A sublime short film based on The Lumineers' best album by far. I used to dislike their somewhat superficial folk music, and I'm still not a fan of the band, but some songs from this much deeper album really hit home. The stunningly beautiful "Salt and the Sea" and its accompanying intro, "April," stand out. This film, shot in a very gritty and atmospheric way, and featuring Ozark actor Charlie Tahan, is the icing on the cake! 4 stars.
