Spenser has just been released from prison. Soon after his release, the ex-cop is sucked back into the Boston underworld and uncovers the truth behind a high profile murder. Mediocre film in which an ex-cop is released from prison after a few years for mistreating his superior. In itself a fairly entertaining plot with enough progress, but it doesn't really captivate. We've all seen it before and as a whole it doesn't make much of an impression. This fifth collaboration from Mark Wahlberg and Peter Berg isn't exactly their best. Of the cast, Iliza Shlesinger knows how to bring it the best.

What a great movie!! In a word great.
At least if this is your first action movie you've seen and you don't know any better. But seriously I always thought Wahlberg played in attractive movies but this one is really bad.
Conclusion: watch 110 min or just the trailer. With the latter you can get more than out of your life.
