When her daughter Shannan goes missing, Mari Gilbert of New York investigates. In the woods, she makes a horrifying discovery when she stumbles upon the bodies of other girls. These turn out to have stayed in the sex industry and were murdered by the serial killer who makes Long Island unsafe.

Good film in which a number of bodies of prostitutes are found after the disappearance of a young woman. Based on a tragic true story. Not so much a whodunit, but more of a moody drama about how this is handled. Well cast and well acted and it is all realistically portrayed. A small 3.5 stars.

Fits into the pattern of 'Wednesday evening rtl4' true TV drama about an unyielding mother and her struggle against the police, the press and the creepy residents of a gated community when her first born is missing. Still a bit better than the average j80-90 true story. Because the film is not so corny and it seeks in realism.
