De Brief voor Sinterklaas plot

The festive arrival of Sinterklaas is overshadowed by a gigantic problem: due to a major shortage of Pieten, the tradition threatens to disappear once and for all. Sinterklaas has his hands in his hair: how does he get new, good Petes quickly? There is no other option than to organize an audition, in which the saintly man goes in search of new Petes: an official 'Pete Day'. Sem sees his chance and immediately writes a letter. If he can become a tough, strong Piet, then his bullies will probably never bother him again. But what nobody knows is that Huibert Jan and his 'Mommy' are trying to sabotage the Pietendag through a mean plan. Will Sem, Patty Pepernoot and Piet Bennie succeed in saving Pietendag and thus the Sinterklaas party?
