"The Great Betrayal"
Panipat is set in the year 1761, when the Maratha Empire ruled Hindostan. No one had the courage to challenge them until an invader set his eyes on the throne of Hindostan. This was when Sadashiv Rao Bhau, commander in chief of the Maratha army, led the northern expedition. His aim was to repel the invading forces of Ahmad Shah Abdali, the king of Afghanistan. Based on a true story, it depicts the events leading up to the Third Battle of Panipat.
