Wiren plot
Film based on true events about the deaf Surinamese boy Wiren, whose ambitions take him from the countryside to Paramaribo, where he ends up in Kennedy boarding school. Later, when he is rejected by the university, he realizes that deaf people do not enjoy the same rights and opportunities as hearing people. He decides to seek justice by prosecuting the government to force it to abide by the Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities.
